Skin Illuminance was dreamed up with the idea that “I just want to make people look pretty” and this is where it began.
Our mission is to help patients with skin concerns and aesthetic challenges by developing a customized treatment plan specific to each person and performing result-driven medical aesthetic treatments to address and improve their skin health and aesthetic appearance.
The owner, Linda, is a medical and aesthetically trained Physician Assistant who currently practices Medical Dermatology. She decided she wanted a beautiful aesthetic calming space that was a positive energy environment where Medical Aesthetic procedures and skin regeneration treatments could be performed with the focus on targeting the layer of the skin called the dermis.
This is where the formation of collagen and elastin is produced and where all the magic in the skin happens to maintain that youthful glow of illuminating healthy skin. So, Skin Illuminance was born with the goal to serve and assist patients and clients with their skin challenges and aesthetic concerns so they can illuminate in their own skin.
MEET THE FOUNDER
Linda A. Silva
Linda Silva is the founder and aesthetic provider of Skin Illuminance. Her love for skin and skin conditions led her to Dermatology where she has practiced for the last 12+ years. She has said for years “I just want to make people look pretty” (seriously, true story), so she opened up Skin Illuminance with the purpose to inspire and help people achieve their skin and beauty goals.
MEET THE supervising physician
Glenn H. Brown
Dr. Brown attended Hamilton College in upstate New York for his undergraduate studies and earned his medical degree from New York Medical College. He has received extensive training, completing a one-year internship in internal medicine at Wadsworth V.A. Hospital in Los Angeles, a one-year general surgery residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, and a three-year dermatology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, where he served as chief resident during his final year. Dr. Brown also completed a Fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison with Dr. Mohs.
